How do I upgrade from Basic to Pro?
To upgrade from the Basic to the Pro plan, follow these simple steps:
- Visit ProtoPie Cloud.
- Click on your account name in the top right corner and select Billing.
- On the Manage Billing page, locate the Basic Plan section.
- Click the "Upgrade to Pro" button.
Once the upgrade is complete, please contact us for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your Basic plan.
If I upgrade from Basic to Pro, will I get a refund for my Basic plan?
After upgrading from Basic to Pro, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your existing Basic plan. For instance, if you have a yearly Basic plan and have used it for one month, you will be refunded for the remaining 11 months.Please contact us after completing the upgrade, and we will assist you with the refund process.
How do I add the Connect add-on to my Basic plan?
To add the Connect add-on to your existing Basic plan, please visit the Manage Billing section on ProtoPie Cloud and select the add-on for purchase. If you are new and planning to subscribe to the Basic plan, you can include the Connect add-on during your initial subscription process.
Is there a trial for the Basic plan?
The Basic plan does not offer a free trial. You can either opt for our Free plan or refer to our pricing comparison table for a detailed breakdown of what each plan includes.
How many prototypes can I create and upload with the Basic plan?
On the Basic plan, you can create and upload up to 20 prototypes on the cloud, with a maximum of 10 scenes per prototype. To create unlimited prototypes, please consider upgrading to the Pro plan.
Can I save prototypes locally with the Basic plan?
Saving prototypes locally is not available with the Basic plan. To unlock local saving and the ability to create unlimited prototypes, please consider upgrading to the Pro plan.
Can I add multiple seats to my Basic plan?
No, the Basic plan does not support multiple seats. To access this feature along with enhanced collaboration tools, please upgrade to the Pro plan.
Can viewers on the Basic plan leave comments on my prototypes?
On the Basic plan, only you can comment on your prototypes. If you need to collaborate with a team, please upgrade to the Pro plan.
What happens if I cancel my Basic plan?
If you choose to cancel your active Basic plan, you'll remain subscribed until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, you won't be able to create, edit, or upload new prototypes to your cloud storage using ProtoPie.
However, you still have access to your prototypes as a viewer.
Is there a storage limit for the Basic plan?
With the Basic plan, you can store up to 20 Pies with a total cloud storage limit of 500 MB.
For more storage, upgrade to Pro for unlimited personal space and additional team storage. Follow the steps on our upgrade page to easily switch from Basic to Pro.
Is there a storage limit for the Individual plan?
As an Individual plan user, you are not subject to a specific storage limit. This unlimited storage is available as long as your subscription remains active.
What happens if I exceed my storage limit of Basic plan?
- Exceeded limit: You won’t be able to save new pies until you upgrade to the Pro plan.
- Approaching limit: You’ll get a warning but can still save new Pies. To avoid interruptions, consider upgrading to the Pro plan. Follow the steps on our upgrade page to switch from Basic to Pro.
What happens if I downgrade to a Free plan?
If your cloud space exceeds the 50MB limit, you won’t be able to access your projects until you upgrade again. Your projects will not be deleted. Click here to upgrade again if needed.
Where can I find the current usage data for the Basic plan?
You can view your Pies and overall storage usage in the left menu bar of your cloud space.
